Arriving by train

No rail on Bali. Fast boats reach Nusa Penida (30 min from Sanur), Gili Islands (2h from Padangbai) and Lombok (90 min).

Getting into the city

Bali has no urban transit — rent a scooter (~IDR 70k/day), hire a private driver (IDR 700k–900k/day, ~USD 45–60), or use Grab/Gojek for point-to-point rides. Traffic between Kuta ↔ Ubud can hit 90 min in peak. Ngurah Rai (DPS) airport is 15 min from Kuta/Seminyak and 90 min from Ubud/Uluwatu.

• Scooter
