How this 3-day Doha plan works
Doha stopover essentials
Each day below is grouped geographically so you spend your time in Doha rather than in transit. The Doha Metro is fast, modern and cheap, linking the airport, West Bay, Souq Waqif and Msheireb. Karwa taxis and rideshare cover the rest; most hotels offer beach or mall shuttles.
Day by day
Day 1
Day 1 — Corniche walk, Museum of Islamic Art, MIA Park sundown.
Day 2
Day 2 — Souq Waqif, Msheireb Museums, Katara Cultural Village evening.
Day 3
Day 3 — Half-day desert safari to the inland sea at Khor Al Adaid.

Best time to run this itinerary
November–March offers 18–26°C days perfect for walking the Corniche and desert trips. April and October are hotter but still comfortable; May–September regularly tops 40°C.
Before you go
The metro is cheap, fast and air-conditioned — buy a Travel Card at any station.
Modest dress is required for public spaces and museums.
Fridays start late; many restaurants open only after Jumu'ah prayer.
