Entry and arrival formalities
e-Gate lanes speed entry for holders of eligible passports; visa-waiver stamp is issued on arrival.
Over 90 nationalities receive a free visa waiver on arrival at Hamad International (typically 30 days, extendable to 60). Others apply via the Hayya portal or a Qatari embassy before travel.
Getting into the city
