BVG's U-Bahn (subway), S-Bahn (suburban rail), trams and buses form Europe's densest transit web; 24h ABC ticket (covers BER airport) is €10.60, AB ticket (central) is €10.06. The FEX airport express and S9/S45 link BER to central Berlin in 30–45 min. Bike infrastructure is excellent; Berlin is largely flat.
