How transport works in Osaka

Osaka Metro's 9 lines cover the city; the JR Loop Line circles central Osaka connecting Osaka Station, USJ and Tennoji. Shin-Osaka is the Shinkansen station (10 min north of central Umeda). Kansai Airport (KIX) is 50 km south — Nankai Rapi:t to Namba in 35 min (¥1,450) or JR Haruka to Shin-Osaka in ~50 min. Escalator etiquette — stand on the RIGHT (opposite of Tokyo).
