Your Privacy Choices
Last updated July 28, 2026
Travel Marhaba gives you meaningful control over how your information is used. This page summarizes the choices available today and how to exercise them. For the full policy, see the Travel Marhaba Privacy Policy.
Cookie preferences
Travel Marhaba uses four categories of cookies:
- Necessary — required for authentication, session, security, and secure checkout. These cannot be disabled.
- Functional — remember your language, currency, and recently viewed items.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 collects aggregated, pseudonymous data so we can understand how travelers use the platform, identify issues, and improve search and booking flows.
- Advertising / Marketing — the Meta Pixel and Google advertising signals help us measure campaign performance, build remarketing audiences, and personalize the ads shown to you on Meta and Google platforms.
Open the preferences panel with the button below, or the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer, to accept all, reject non-essential, or set each category individually. Your choice is stored for 180 days.
Analytics choices
In the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Brazil, Google Analytics runs with analytics storage denied until you accept analytics cookies. In other regions analytics is enabled by default and you can reject it at any time. Declining analytics does not affect your ability to search or book on Travel Marhaba.
Advertising and personalization choices
The Meta Pixel is only loaded once you grant marketing consent, and never when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Google advertising signals follow Google Consent Mode v2 and stay denied without marketing consent. When granted, these technologies allow us to personalize and measure the relevance of ads on Meta and Google platforms.
Affiliate and referral measurement
When you continue to a booking partner, we pass a referral marker in the outbound link and log the click server-side so the partner can attribute the booking to us. This is how the service is funded, it contains no advertising profile, and it operates in every consent state — including when you reject all optional cookies.
Marketing preferences
Transactional emails (bookings, account activity, host applications) are always sent because they are required to operate the service. Marketing emails are opt-in and can be unsubscribed from the footer of any marketing message or from your account settings.
Marhaba AI personalization preferences
Marhaba AI uses privacy-respecting soft signals — trip style, pace, budget range, accommodation type, and interests — to personalize suggestions. These signals are destination-neutral and never include sensitive personal data.
- Open the Marhaba AI assistant.
- Open the traveler-preferences panel.
- Use the granular "Forget" controls to clear any signal you don't want us to use.
Clearing personalization signals will not delete your account, saved trips, or booking history.
Data access, export, and deletion
You can request:
- Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about your account.
- Export — your saved trips and wishlist as a JSON download.
- Correction — updates to inaccurate account information.
- Deletion — deletion of your account and associated planning data.
Most requests can be completed directly in your account settings. For anything else, email privacy@moroccosojourn.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Regional privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and comparable regulations. Travel Marhaba is committed to honoring these rights globally where practical.
Opt-out signals
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal: when it is present we keep advertising cookies and the Meta Pixel off everywhere, and analytics off as well in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Brazil. Travel Marhaba does not sell personal data.
